We start with people, not products

We don’t believe in making products simply because we can.

We listen to the questions customers ask us every day:

  • How do I choose the right product?
  • What’s actually in this bottle?
  • Where did the hemp come from?
  • Has it been tested?
  • How should I use it?
  • What makes one hemp extract different from another?
  • Is this product suitable for me?

Those questions shape what we do.

Our Dublin-based team provides customer support and product information, helping people navigate an industry that can often be confusing or overloaded with exaggerated claims.

Our job isn’t to tell you what you should buy. It’s to give you better information so you can make a more informed decision.

We also believe in being honest about the limits of what hemp and cannabinoid products can do. We are not doctors and we do not provide medical advice. When health decisions are involved, we encourage customers to speak with an appropriate healthcare professional.

From Irish fields to finished products

Quality starts long before a product reaches the shelf.

Where possible, we focus on the entire journey — from the hemp and botanical ingredients used, through extraction and formulation, to testing, packaging and customer support.

Hempture states that its hemp is grown under applicable licences and EU requirements, and that its products undergo laboratory testing. Its published product information also references third-party testing and EIRLAB testing.

That matters because customers deserve to know that what’s on the label is backed by a process — not simply a marketing promise.

Our approach:

01 — Source carefully

We work with hemp growers, suppliers and specialist partners who meet our requirements for quality and compliance.

02 — Extract responsibly

Our cannabinoid products use controlled extraction processes designed to preserve the qualities we’re looking for in the finished extract.

03 — Test

Testing is an important part of our quality process. We use laboratory analysis and third-party testing to help verify product quality and composition.

04 — Formulate thoughtfully

We develop products around real customer needs, from CBD oils and topicals to hemp-based and botanical wellness products.

05 — Support the customer

The relationship doesn’t end when an order leaves our warehouse. Our team is available to answer questions and help customers understand our products.

Our story

More than a century of hemp knowledge

Hempture’s connection with hemp goes back generations. The company’s published history traces its Irish farming roots to the early 1900s.

1999 — Hempture begins its modern chapter

The modern incarnation of Hempture is founded in Ireland, establishing the foundations for the business that would later become one of Ireland’s longest-established CBD producers.

2015 — A milestone for Irish CBD

Hempture begins the first official steps of CBD oil production on 18 May 2015.

The first Wicklow hemp crop used for CBD production becomes an important milestone in the company’s history.

Hempture subsequently launches what it describes as Ireland’s first CBD product.

2016 — Industry recognition

Hempture becomes an IIHA-approved hemp company, strengthening its position within Ireland’s emerging industrial hemp sector.

2017 — Building the Hempture community

Hempture describes itself as a specialist Irish hemp business producing products in small batches and placing strong emphasis on organically grown hemp and quality-controlled production.

2018 — Expanding Irish hemp products

Hempture introduces Irish-grown CBD flower from its partner Lough Farm, highlighting the growing range of Irish hemp products available to customers.

2019 — Growing the Irish hemp network

Hempture continues developing its network of distributors, retailers and partners, including the expansion of Hempland’s Dublin retail presence. Hempture

2020 — Recognition for Hempture CBD

Hempture’s CBD oil wins Gold in the Rude Health Lockdown Awards in the Best for Calm / Stress category.

2021–2024 — From CBD specialist to botanical wellness company

The Hempture range continues to evolve beyond traditional CBD oils, with products spanning cannabinoids, terpenes, topicals, hemp foods and other botanical products.

The company also develops its wider international supply and processing network.

2025 — Adapting to a changing industry

Hempture continues to monitor changes in Irish and European cannabinoid regulation. In July 2025, the company published information about the Irish ban on HHC following its classification as a controlled drug.

For us, responsible hemp business means adapting when the law changes — and keeping customers informed.

2026 — Still moving forward

Today, Hempture continues to develop hemp, cannabinoid and botanical wellness products while building on more than two decades of modern hemp expertise.

We’re still learning, still experimenting and still looking for better ways to use this remarkable plant.

And we’re only getting started.

A note from the team

“We’re proud of how far Hempture has come, but we’re even more interested in where hemp can take us next. Our customers keep asking better questions — and those questions push us to make better products.”

What we stand for

1. Quality before hype

The hemp and CBD industry can be full of bold claims.

We’d rather show people what we’re doing.

That means paying attention to sourcing, production, testing and product information — and continually looking for ways to improve.

In practice: our product information highlights laboratory testing, production standards and ingredient characteristics rather than relying solely on marketing language.

2. Customers come first

A product isn’t successful simply because it sells.

It’s successful when a customer understands what they’re buying, receives the support they need and feels confident coming back to us.

In practice: Hempture’s published customer-focus policy commits the company to quality, value, product safety and responding positively to customer enquiries while seeking practical solutions.

3. Natural where possible

We believe there’s value in working with nature rather than unnecessarily complicating it.

Our mission is centred around naturally derived hemp and botanical products and reducing unnecessary additives and harsh chemicals.

In practice: many Hempture products are positioned around natural, vegan, GMO-free and additive-free formulations, depending on the individual product.

4. Transparency builds trust

Customers shouldn’t have to be experts in cannabinoids to understand what they’re buying.

We aim to make product information, testing and sourcing as accessible as possible.

In practice: we publish product information and laboratory/testing details and maintain an advice and customer-support function for people who have questions.

5. Keep learning

Hemp is a rapidly developing industry.

Science changes. Regulations change. Customer expectations change.

So we keep researching, testing, developing and adapting.

In practice: our range has expanded from our early CBD focus into cannabinoids, terpenes, topical products, hemp foods and other botanical products.

6. Support Irish hemp

We’re proud to be an Irish business operating in an industry with strong potential for Irish agriculture, manufacturing and innovation.

That’s why we actively support Irish hemp businesses, growers, suppliers and specialist partners where we can.

In practice: Hempture has worked with Irish hemp partners and has promoted and stocked products from other Irish hemp producers.
