IRELANDS FIRST ORGANIC IRISH HEMP LIP BALM

It contains all raw natural ingredients including the main ingredient – Hemp Oil from the plant itself. This has been extracted from the plant material itself NOT from the seeds.

This is the very first product we have brought to market in Ireland and we hope it to be the first of many. The Hemp balm has a very light green colour and may vary between batches.

Our Hemp lip balm should NOT be confused with other Lip balms such as Petroleum Jelly or  Vaseline for example.  Petroleum jelly can create the illusion of moisturized, hydrated skin, all the while suffocating your pores. It’s water-repellant and not water-soluble, meaning it merely seals the barrier so that moisture does not leave the skin. Petroleum jelly, the main ingredient in Vaseline, is a derivative of oil refining. Originally found coating the bottom of oil rigs in the mid-1800s.

So while you might feel the instant gratification of a softened surface, you’re actually drying out your pores by keeping out air and moisture. What’s more, the thick texture makes it difficult to cleanse from the skin, so never slather Vaseline on an unwashed face if you want to avoid breakouts. “It essentially seals in the dirt,”

The strain of hemp used for the Lip Balm is Bialobrzeskie, which is know to have an weighted average of 0.16% THC and 1.32% CBD. The extraction method we use bring out the full range of cannabinoids and terpenes from the Hemp plant.

The Hemp extract is mixed and heated with the other ingredients and allowed to naturally cool in the containers. Its then sealed with an authentication
label. Each individual tin can be traced back to an exact batch number.
